I've taken Palpatine's iconic cane from Thingiverse, modified it to make it hollow and inserted a 1/4 steel rod wrapped in fiberglass resin, turning it into a functional walking aid as well as an authentic prop for Cosplay enthusiasts. To achieve this balance of form and function, I suggest drilling out the puzzle pieces before inserting the 1/4 inch steel or aluminum rod, then pouring in resin to add stiffness and stability, making it suitable for everyday use as a cane. In my remix, I successfully created a sturdy version that can support a considerable amount of weight without significant bending, allowing users to lean on it confidently. For those with smaller printers, I've broken down the design into 12 1/2 pieces, simplifying the printing process and making it easier to assemble each half of the cane, glue them together, pour in resin, insert the rod, and finally, attach both halves.
