Empire State Building - New York City

Welcome to New York City! This model was brought to life by MiniWorld 3D collaborator Trevor DePodesta (@coold3d4me) at www.cool3d4me.com. The Empire State Building stands as one of the most iconic skyscrapers in New York City, the US, and the world! Designed by Shreve, Lamb & Harmon, it was completed in 1931. Reaching a roof height of 1,250 feet (380 m) and standing at an impressive 1,454 feet (443.2 m) tall, including its antenna, this architectural marvel held the title of world's tallest building for nearly 40 years until the completion of the World Trade Center's North Tower in 1970. Following the devastating September 11 attacks in 2001, it reclaimed its status as the tallest building in New York until the new One World Trade Center was completed in April 2012. Today, it proudly remains the 6th tallest building in the US (from Wikipedia). MiniWorld 3D is thrilled to present this historical model as a tribute to all the people of New York.
