I really can't think of what this part should be called, but it it the piece that attached the fiberglass tape to the reel itself. If you pull on the tape when fully extended, it easily breaks. Instructions I used a medium print quality with three shells. There is a hole in the cylindrical hook that the fiberglass tape attaches to. I epoxied a 1/8" roll pin in there to give it some shear strength.
