The majestic creature is known as the Emperor Penguin. Reaching heights of approximately 45 inches and weighing up to 90 pounds, this bird is the largest species of penguin in existence. Males can be identified by their distinctive yellow patches on their chest, while females have a more muted appearance. They are also one of the most social birds, with colonies often numbering in the hundreds of thousands.
