Emmett's Not-Quite-As-Large Shaft
thingiverse
Looking at Emmett's impressive Automatic Transmission model and feeling a bit overwhelmed? In need of a more suitable option for your printer bed? Fret not! Here is a simpler alternative that should fit just right. To create this easier version, simply open the OpenSCAD file, adjust the tolerance if necessary, and generate your custom-fitted shaft parts. If you haven't changed the tolerance, feel free to use the provided settings. Once printed, ensure privacy by shutting doors and blinds before gluing the pieces together with SuperGlue. I personally printed these and they fit perfectly! Just remember to check your printing limits as the parts stand at approximately 74mm in height.
