Emma(Ergo Keyboard)

A custom case for a mechanical keyboard designed to be 3D printed, inspired by the popular "Alice" layout after seeing the Prime_E by holtenc or primekb.com. I created this custom case with a 6-degree angle and named it Emma after my wife in recognition of her inspiration and encouragement throughout my design journey. This was my first real CAD design and work (aside from the macropad in my profile), so please forgive any imperfections you may find. The files include a full case without splitting, if your 3D printer is large enough to handle it. The left and right sides of the case feature rod holes that were cut out to provide additional rigidity. Rods were inserted into the holes with epoxy and then the two halves were joined together using more epoxy. For those who prefer a different approach, I've also included versions of the left and right sides without rod holes. Some notes on the design: there is ample space for handwiring this keyboard (how I built mine), but the inside walls may be too close to the switch cutouts, making it difficult to remove keycaps. If you're interested in printing this case and encounter this issue, please let me know and I'll do my best to revise the design. Additionally, the inside wall above the Q key is slightly higher than the rest of the plate due to an oversight during the editing process. You may also experience difficulties printing the "emma" characters, which were a personal design choice for me. If you'd like these filled in and can't be bothered to do it yourself, just let me know. Finally, stabilizers might not fit perfectly within this case; you may need to carve out additional space for them (I opted against using a stabilizer in my own build).
