grabcad
This study aimed to create affordable, efficient myoelectrically-controlled prosthetic hands for amputees in low-income regions of developing countries. The hand design included three joints per finger (total 15 degrees of freedom), each driven by a motor actuator, optimizing grasping functionality. Cost reduction was achieved through manufacturing the Poly Lactic Acid components via 3D printing.
