EMERGENCY VENTILATOR

The ultimate goal of my design is to develop an emergency ventilator that functions flawlessly in both developed and underdeveloped countries globally. Third world nations face significant challenges due to limited or no access to modern hospitals, making medical care a luxury they often cannot afford. Electricity is not always guaranteed, adding to the complexity of providing life-saving treatments. My design is intentionally open-source, allowing competent workshops around the world to assemble the device with relative ease. I am familiar with the basics of electronics but lack experience with 3D printing, so assistance in making this machine 3D printable would be greatly appreciated. The microcontroller will play a crucial role by controlling several critical functions: * It will precisely control the stroke length, thereby regulating the volume of air delivered to patients. * The stepper speed can be adjusted to control the flow rate, ensuring that oxygen is administered at a consistent pace. * The microcontroller will also dictate the number of stepper cycles, directly impacting "breaths per minute." * It will activate the oxygen solenoid as needed. * Furthermore, the device will continuously monitor pressure and other vital functions, triggering alarms if any anomalies occur. This emergency ventilator can operate using either mains electricity or car batteries, making it a versatile solution for various scenarios. If you're interested in collaborating on this project, please don't hesitate to join the conversation! I'm eager to learn from experts in 3D printing and microcontroller programming.
