The button assembly for this stop circuit includes a specially designed housing unit manufactured by Gardner Bender as their SPST push-button GSW-21. The switch is meant to be directly linked into the printer's power supply system so it can halt printer operations whenever needed. To join the individual parts together, a high-strength cyanoacrylate adhesive, or thick CA glue, known commonly as superglue, was applied thoroughly around the button top, its metal shaft, and onto all visible lettering areas of this unit.
