Description

If you are outside and the pressure builds up but no restroom / toilet is available you can convert any commonly used PET bottle into your own sanitary relief bottle.

This adapter screws easily onto any bottle with a PCO-1881 threading - so almost any PET-bottle used for water or softdrinks.

It also features a screw-on cap. Both screwing connections are water-tight to securely contain any fluids.

The adapter is optimized for the male anatomy (sorry, no female volunteers were available) to securely take in fluids with little risk of spill-over even in dire situations. With the cap screwed on the bottle can be stored safely for later disposal.

Make sure to store used bottles in a cool place! If heated e.g. in a car in the sun, pressure can build up which might lead to leaking. Also things can become gross pretty quickly.

Printing

Print in PETG or ASA. Don't use PLA! PLA breaks too easily.

The parts can be printed without support in the orientation given in the model files. There are a few points to take care of, though.

Print walls solid to increase water tightness.

Scatter seam points randomly. If those line up, fluids can leak out.

Thoroughly clean your printbed and increase bed temperature by about 10°C for the first layer to guarantee good bed adhesion or use a brim for the adaptor.

A general layer height of 0,3mm is fine and keeps print time short. However, make sure to decrease layer height to about 0,1mm where threadings are located (walls of cap, top and bottom of adapter) to ensure the threadings print cleanly and won't jam in use.
