Emergency Push Rods and Control Horns - L'Hélice Cassée
thingiverse
Hi ! During our last RC challenge, my brother and I were short on push rods and control horns, so we came up with a makeshift emergency kit. You won't even need to grab screws. It contains 8 mm push rods, 12 mm push rods, 8mm 90-degree angle push rods, 12 mm 90-degree angle push rods, control horns, and clips for the control horns. So, how does it work? Usually, when you open a new servo, you get at least three screws: one small screw for the little lever of the servo and two bigger ones to secure the servo. We'll use the biggest one to attach the push rod to the control horn. Use a drill bit to enlarge the holes if needed; it should be able to turn freely but not too loose. Next, simply screw it into the control horns, and you're done! With these, you should be able to get most of your DIY projects working smoothly. We highly recommend printing these with solid filament, 100% infill, and a lot of perimeters. Watch our video where we used them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SEwEP6Y_CY&t=1s.
