Emergency planting cup
prusaprinters

Do you know the feeling when you want to plant a seedling but then realize that you have no planter left?

So that you can plant successfully on public holidays or at a late hour - I have developed a universal emergency planting cup.

Joking aside, this is a regular planter with holes for drainage. I honestly felt that I no longer had a possibility to plant, but my mini mandarins have already sprouted. Hardware stores are closed, but we all have 3d printers.

Printed this only in VASE mode - 5 bottom layers, 0.2 layer height and 0.6mm extrusion width (with 0.4 nozzle) - after the 5th layer, i pushed speed to ~180% so it will take ~25min per piece.

Prototypes printed in PLA, but as you all should know, PLA is biodegradable - so no perfect solution. If you plan to print these for forever, make sure you take at least PETG or ABS for indoor and ASA and similar UV resistant for outdoor.

Before you ask, Filament is that Beautiful "DasFilament grüngold".

Last picture Vase mode model is a scaled down to 35% version of https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/34332-9-sided-twisted-planter.
