Emergency Flower Garden
thingiverse
Similar to My Flamingo Paradise, this is a flat print that has all parts delicately attached with plastic tabs to resemble a model kit from the store. I print at 0.3mm layer height and add a manual color change in PrusaSlic3r at 2.9mm height, using green for the base and yellow for the top, printed in PLA. For a rapid print, you can use the Flower_Garden_Full file and print as is. If you prefer a different mix of flowers, I included individual files for the base and each of the flowers. You can then lay out and arrange the flowers as you want across the thin print strips. In PrusaSlicer, start with the base, right-click on it and "Add Part" for each flower. This tells the slicer to merge the parts together instead of printing each separately in the same space. You can also create your own custom flowers to use with the base if you have the ability to design models. The flower tab should be 4mm wide and 3mm tall, then extruded 2mm thick. Remember, anything extruded under 2.9mm is the base color (leaves, stems, etc) and anything above that will be a different color. I start with a simple outline of a flower, convert to SVG with Inkscape, then import it into Fusion360 as my starting point in the sketch.
