Emergency Flower Garden
prusaprinters

Similar to my Flamingo Paradise, this is a flat print that has all parts lightly connected with plastic tabs to resemble a model kit from the store. I print at 0.3mm layer height and at 2.9mm height add a manual color change in prusaslic3r. I used green for the base and yellow for the top and printed in PLA.

For a quick print, you can use the Flower_Garden_Full file and print as is. If you prefer a different mix of flowers, I included the individual files for the base and each of the flowers. You can then layout and arrange the flowers as you want across the thin print strips. In prusaslicer, instead of directly adding all parts, start with the base, then right click on the base and "Add Part" for each of the flowers. This tells the slicer to blend the parts together instead of printing each separately in the same space.

You can also create your own custom flowers to use with the base if you have the ability to design models. The flower tab should be 4mm wide and 3mm tall, then extruded 2mm thick (depth). Remember anything extruded under 2.9mm is the base color (leaves, stems, etc) and anything above that will be a different color. I start with a simple outline of a flower, convert to SVG with Inkscape, then import to Fusion360 into my sketch as the starting point.
Category: Construction Toys
