Emergency Bayonet Respirator Adapter

A converter enables the utilization of 3M threaded-style respirator cartridges with 3M bayonet-style respirator masks. Secure the cartridge by screwing it into place until firm contact is made with the adapter's shoulder. To improve seal and maintain re-usability for cartridges that allow it, insert a 24x2.5mm or comparable o-ring at the base of the threads. I've provided a .SLDPRT file in case you have access to threaded respirators of varying sizes. This is not an officially certified safety device! By using this adapter, performance may not be equivalent to that of the original system. This adapter was designed to facilitate the use of available resources during times of crisis.
