The skeleton of a Varanus prasinus's right forelimb is showcased in a fluid preserved state at the Florida Museum of Natural History, with elements highlighted to demonstrate anatomy. Jaimi Gray from the oVert team created this scene using pre-existing mesh files that were edited to separate, reposition, and color elements in Blender and Meshlab. Karina Riddell segmented and provided original mesh files using Volumegraphics VGStudioMax 3.3 from CT scan data. These models complemented a learning activity designed during the UF Center for Precollegiate Education and Training workshop "3D Vertebrates: From Museum Shelves to Classrooms." The scanning and modeling of this specimen were funded by the oVert project at the University of Florida, supported by NSF DBI 1701714. CT data for this specimen can be found on Morphosource at https://www.morphosource.org/Detail/MediaDetail/Show/media_id/14472.
