Emcomat 7 Bedienpult für FU-Betrieb
thingiverse
I recently bought an Emcomat 7 and decided to upgrade its control panel to a frequency inverter operation. I wanted to keep the original aesthetic of the large mechanical buttons, so I designed this custom control panel. It fits perfectly into the machine's casing without requiring any modifications. However, I did add two cable clamps to the cover plate of the switch housing for easier cable management. The current panel doesn't fit perfectly on the top part of the machine, but it will have to stay until I can get a replacement with a slightly larger clearance. STL-exporting from SU isn't always perfect. I also had some issues with the white color not turning out as expected. All micro-switches, except for the OFF button, are NO-contact switches. To implement the "return-pulse-start" function on the left button using the Danfoss-FU, a small program is required in the FU using SmartLogic. If anyone needs it, just ask. The spiral springs came from a cheap Amazon set with 5.5mm diameter and 38mm length. I printed them in different colors to make it easier to distinguish between important functions. I also printed them in different materials for no particular reason. Note: The second version of the button has not been tested yet. Changes compared to my current v1 are: The limit switches on top have been slightly angled to allow the buttons to slide into place even when the micro-switch is already installed. I also raised the actuator flanks by 0.2mm to ensure safe operation of the micro-switch. This was a bit too tight in the previous version. The orange button housing shown in the pictures is version 1, which unfortunately didn't fit due to an internal increase in the Emco and slightly too narrow spacing between the buttons, causing them to hang constantly. This new version has been tested by me and should work fine. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask! Edit: A few pictures were distorted.
