Upcycle your ugly socks! In order to embroider on a sock with an embroidery machine, one has to make sure that the machine only stitches on one side of the sock. This is a very easy task if your machine has a small free arm, like all professional and semi-professional machines do. The Sock Frame allows stitching on socks with (probably) most consumer machines. WARNING: This tool can damage your machine if you do not follow the instructions. Explanations: [Embroider on socks] (https://edutechwiki.unige.ch/en/Embroider\_on\_socks) [Broder sur une chaussette] (https://edutechwiki.unige.ch/fr/Broder\_sur\_une\_chaussette) Use of this tool requires using the customizer (the online one here at Thingiverse does not seem to work), so use it on your DeskTop OpenSCAD or changing the code. Print Settings Printer: Felix Pro 2 Rafts: NoSupports: No Resolution: 0.56Infill: 25% Filament: any PLA any Notes: Before you print, generate a paper (SVG) model, cut it out and check if it fits your frame. Any printer and any resolution will do. I recommend printing this with a large nozzle. The only requirement is the size of the print bed (depends on the model). You also can laser cut this (faster). Post-Printing Remove sharp bits if there are. Category: DIY
