One way lines are simple to add to your embroidery designs, even for beginners like me. To create this style of line, start by drawing a single stitch down the length of your fabric. Next, bring your needle back up about 1/4 inch from where it went in, and continue stitching along the design as desired. The key to creating one way lines is to keep your stitches consistent and evenly spaced. By doing so, you'll be able to achieve a smooth, flowing line that adds visual interest to your embroidery design.
