EMBoyd Peg Board System

EMBoyd Peg Board System

thingiverse

Pegboard system I designed and have been using for about a year now, incorporating innovative solutions from Thingiverse and online research. However, I encountered several issues with existing designs that were problematic when working with PLA and my printer. To address these concerns, I implemented several key design improvements: 1. Simplified the overall design to reduce complexity. 2. Engineered pegs to be robust and securely fit into holes without being too tight on the top row, where breakage frequently occurred. 3. Added supplementary pegs for enhanced support, improved alignment, and better printing outcomes with the support structure. 4. Introduced bottom-level stepper pegs to certain structures, ensuring they sit level on the pegboard rather than slanting. 5. Integrated locking pegs into hooks and smaller designs, preventing them from being pulled out of the pegboard when removing tools. 6. Maintained flat backs on hooks, allowing them to sit flush against the pegboard without wobbling, and paired with locking pegs for optimal performance. I will continue to refine this system, potentially uploading additional images and elaborating on design concepts in the future.
