Objective: Device for assisting the release of pieces from their support Application presented: Assistance with releasing 3D printed parts from FFF type printer This tool offers an alternative to using a cutting blade or classic spatula to release parts, in order to avoid risks of cuts for the user and the plate attachment. It is a device that facilitates the release of pieces from their support. One characteristic of this device is its ability to use a standard screwdriver or equivalent to attach the piece, and then leverage it without risking damage to the plate. The tool has an elastic zone that ends with a notch on top in relation to a lower notch. The device allows pinching screwdrivers of different diameters from 3 to 5 mm. The upper and lower notches also ensure the retention of the screwdriver. The underside of the tool has a non-aggressive support area for the plate. The device works on the principle of a lever, so that an application at its end generates a force that favors the release of the piece from its support. The used tools can be quickly inserted and removed from the device to recover their dedicated uses. Material: A screwdriver (ø 3 to 5 mm approximately) or equivalent tool. Note: A slight sharpening of the tool on the area in contact with the piece favors the grip.
