Embossed Heart Vase
thingiverse
This was a vase designed by me for my daughter. The current height is 2.52633734 inches so scale up your slicer accordingly to achieve the desired height (i.e., if you want a 7-inch vase, calculate a scaling factor of 277% by dividing 7in by 2.526in). Also, note that the bottom diameter is 1.18110236in and top diameter is 1.95019915in. The attached image shows a larger version without the rounded face of the embossed hearts. Unfortunately, I did not attach this file, but it can be provided if you really want to see it. I used Cura as my slicer and found its spiralize functionality pretty easy to use. To access these settings, first leave the recommended settings and go into custom mode. From here, hover over any of the dropdown lists, such as Quality, Shell, or Infill, and a small gear will appear. Clicking this icon from any list takes you into Cura's massive list of custom settings. Use the search menu at the top to type in spiralize. With Cura 3.2, there are two options available; check the first one for sure as it enables the spiralize functionality. The second option, Smooth spiralized contours, does not make a significant difference for this vase, but checking and using it won't hurt. Thanks for looking at my design! If you printed this vase and enjoyed it or just appreciate its aesthetic, consider sending a tip my way; I won't complain!
