Today, with COVID-19 spreading rapidly around me, concerns about the availability of respirators in my country, Argentina, are growing. To address this issue, I began exploring ways to create a low-cost portable mechanical ventilator. As part of this effort, I designed a compact pump that can push an ambu bag or similar device.
