Emblems from a picture

I enlisted in the Dutch Marine Corps from '74 to '80, proudly displaying several emblems on my wall. After relocating to the USA, I carefully selected only one emblem - that of the Marine Corps - to bring with me. However, I thought it would be feasible to replicate them myself. So, I began researching picture emblems and soon discovered a way to print them on a 2x2 inch scale. I designed a picture frame with a neopixel ring and Arduino behind it, creating an innovative display. The outcome was remarkably successful, as the entire project consisted of just one .STL file. This simplicity is due to the fact that the design is highly personal, allowing users to take clear pictures and easily convert them into a printable .STL file using their 3D printer. My trusty FlashForge Dreamer handled the job, with Flashprint as my go-to software.
