Stovetop toaster designed by Jo BloomfieldIndustrial Design Student at Western Washington UniversityEmber is an enameled cast iron pan designed with the idea of extending our products lifespan. Why don't we use the heat from our pre-existing stovetops? With the ability to use this heat source we can simplify our toaster to fewer and higher quality materials. This simplification removes the need for complicated electronic and mechanical parts that create a shorter product lifespan.
