Embedded Jet Plane F-15 - Transparent 3D Print
thingiverse
I'm still tweaking the print settings to get a flawless result, but I hit a snag with the infill overlap, resulting in those pesky bubble lines near the shell. I'm on it, though - my next goal is to perfect this print quality. In the meantime, I made some adjustments to the original model by blocking off the air vents leading into the engine compartment. It's a small tweak, but one that could make a big difference in the overall look and feel of the print. If you're looking for the best possible outcome, I highly recommend bumping up the scale on this design - 140% is a good starting point, but going bigger will only improve the quality. And don't forget to dial back the flow rate while you're at it; in my experience, too much flow can cause some of the delicate details to get lost. Check out the video link I included (https://youtu.be/Ib8VT9lG28U) for a closer look at what I'm talking about.
