Embedded Heating coil

Embedded Heating coil

thingiverse

The prototype demonstrates a non-contact, low temperature heating coil embedded within a cylinder. It was created by subtracting a "spring" helical shape from a larger cylindrical solid, followed by removing a central rod with a smaller diameter than the inner coil. The thin wire could be easily inserted into the channel without requiring lubrication. Designed using TruSpace CAD software and built on a Form1 Clear printer with 0.1mm resolution in 30 minutes, this low-voltage heating element does not contact the central channel.
