He modified the floor design from (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:171315/#files) and shield from (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:599204) to create this book end cover. I suspect it may not support much weight as is, so he plans to attach it securely to a steel bookend. He intends to simulate some damage on the wall before finishing with a coat of paint.
