Emax Nighthawk 200 Multi-Purpose Runcam2 Mount
thingiverse
This is a 20° angled mount for a Runcam2-type action cam designed to fit perfectly on an Emax Nighthawk 200 frame. It's engineered to be extremely sturdy, remarkably light, and make the best possible use of space by integrating multiple features - hence 'multi-purpose'. Features: The cam is securely strapped down with a velcro lock strap (16-20 mm width, similar to a small Scorpion Strap) to prevent any movement. The cam remains firmly in place, preventing it from sliding out in front. It precisely follows the original front board outline exactly and uses the original screws for a seamless fit. A Lemon Satellite or similar device can be housed within it (note that decasing is required if used with Loc8tor). Antenna tubes of 3.3 mm diameter can be mounted (fitting shrink tubes/duct tape works as well). An LED headlight can also be mounted (remove plastic rear, seal with shrink tubing and lock with an M3 set screw through the front nub from below). If you'd like to explore different angles or other modifications, please don't hesitate to reach out - I'll do my best to assist you. Your comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated. How It Was Designed This mount is a successor to Thing 1550114 with some minor enhancements, but without the space for a Loc8tor (which, although great in theory, proved to be an expensive piece of hardware that rarely functions - it's best avoided).
