Emax Nighthawk 200 Multi-Purpose Runcam2 / Mobius Mount

NOTE: If you don't have a Loc8tor, please try this successor. This is a 25° angled mount for a Mobius/Runcam2-type action cam designed to fit an Emax Nighthawk 200 frame. It's designed to be sturdy and light, making the best possible use of space by integrating additional features - hence 'multi-purpose'. My ABS print weighs 10 g. The real-life pics of this mount are taken from earlier prototypes, features have been added or changed since. The download file is always the newest version only. Features: cam to be strapped down with a velcro lock strap (16-20 mm width, e.g. a small Scorpion Strap) cam is kept from sliding out in front follows original front board outline exactly, uses original screws houses a Loc8tor Tag between strap and cam (lenticular version) houses a Lemon Satellite or similar (need to decase if used with Loc8tor) mounts antenna tubes (dia 3.3 mm or fit with shrink tubes/duct tape) mounts an LED headlight (remove plastic rear, seal and fit into place with shrink tubes) If you would like different angles or other modifications, please feel free to contact me and I'll try my best to help you out. I appreciate any comments and suggestions. How I Designed This Change history: UPDATE 16-08-31: This Thing is now more or less obsolete, I'm not developing it any further, just keeping it in the archive. Use this successor instead - I'm through with this rubbish Loc8tor stuff. UPDATE 16-06-01: Minor refinements: Enlarged the holes for the antennas to a nominal Ø3.6 mm because they came out too small in print and I had to ream them, destroying the inner stopper ledge in the process. Added a ledge in front to keep the cam from sliding out. Enlarged the width of the lock strap slot. UPDATE 16-05-13: I uploaded an improved version of the mount. I did away with the non-functional ziptie stuff and made support holes for real antenna tubes Ø3.3 mm. The front looks a bit different now, the cam support was actually too long and is now made to blend in better with the side plate design of the frame. While playing around with the prototype, we also came upon the idea of integrating one of the LED spots we had at hand - just for kicks. UPDATE 16-05-11: I had a prototype printed by a local hub in 50 micron ABS on a Zortrax M200. It was as expensive as it is beautiful, and it seems pretty much indestructible to me - but then I have to admit it was printed with quite massive settings, too. I'll spoil you with some pics. Anyway, the antenna mount by the side slots did not turn out as intended. Zipties won't grip (who has ever heard a thing like this?!?), so we ended up having to drill two other holes into it. I am going to rework and update this Thing in the next few days and adjust some of the features... maybe even add one. :) If you are intending to print it, you won't regret waiting a bit. I want this to be the ultimate multi-purpose mount for this frame. Thank you for your patience!
