EMAX Hawk 5 front bumper

Front bumper design for Emax Hawk 5 drone intended to be fabricated from lightweight yet robust 3mm carbon fiber sheets. A prototype was successfully printed using PETG material, demonstrating excellent performance and structural integrity. The primary function of this front bumper is to enhance the stability and strength of the quadcopter's front arms while also providing vital protection for the drone's vulnerable forward section. It protrudes approximately 1 millimeter beyond the original arms' profile. To ensure secure motor attachment, four M3x10mm screws are substituted for the standard M3x7mm mounting hardware, guaranteeing a rock-solid bond between the motors and the quadcopter's frame.
