This clip prevents the battery strap from sliding during a crash, which keeps batteries securely in place within the quad. This helps prevent them from being ejected during a crash, potentially saving you from being eliminated from a race or searching for a missing quad. Printed in PLA, this clip weighs just 2.5 grams. This is the initial design; plans are underway to lengthen it for a snug fit and make adjustments to better align with the bottom arm plate. To install it, simply slide the clip into the frame between the main and bottom plates, where the battery strap goes. The flat side faces down towards the quad's base, while flexible tabs act as springs, keeping it centered and in place even without a battery strap or battery installed.
