The battery strap on the Babyhawk is too large for many people's preferred tiny batteries. Getting a nano-tech 300mah battery to stay securely in place can be a real challenge. This adapter makes things easier by providing a better fit. The side holes are designed for routing wires, which was an accidental benefit of saving weight during design. Now you can tuck your balance plug into one hole and run the JST wires through the other. The adapter is specifically made for Turnigy Nano-tech 300mah batteries but also works with Pulse Ultra 300mah batteries. It's likely to work well with similar battery types too. Once tightened, these small batteries slide in and out easily without needing to undo the strap each time you want to swap them. For a perfect fit, use a flexible filament like Sainsmart TPU. While this design provides a secure hold, it still allows for some movement in case of a crash, keeping your battery from getting stuck.
