This is a drink coaster with the Seti@home logo. Seti@home is a program you can join using your computer, like my android and raspberry pi, to make calculations for the project. SETI stands for Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. Contributing to this program gives me a great feeling. I also volunteer in projects that calculate solutions to diseases like Cancer and HIV using BOINC software. I printed this model in multi-color with one extruder. It's also possible to print it in single color. Use this coaster to place your favorite drink. If you've printed it, don't hesitate to show off your skills by uploading a picture. This is a standard size coaster (100 by 100 by 5 mm), which fits perfectly in my coaster holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/th... I printed this model with Ultimaker white PLA and Ultimaker silver metallic PLA using 0.2mm layer height, 18% infill, a 0.4mm nozzle at 210 degrees Celsius, and a heated bed to prevent curling up at the bottom. I used a brim and paused the print when switching filament. Found on page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SETI_at_home SETI@home is an Internet-based public volunteer computing project employing BOINC software created by the Berkeley SETI Research Center, hosted by the Space Sciences Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley. Its purpose is to analyze radio signals searching for signs of extraterrestrial intelligence as part of the worldwide SETI effort. Enjoy! Raimon of IdeaLab
