elVaradero - 3D Printed R/C Modular Car
thingiverse
elVaradero is the successor to the hydrogen-powered race car Varadero, a highly successful endurance racing vehicle equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell and featuring in top-notch series like H2AC and Hydrogen Cup. Endurance racing involves completing one round over six hours of continuous racing action. elVaradero proudly sports a green finish, as electric vehicles are synonymous with eco-friendliness. elVaradero is actually an acronym, standing for electric. Had it been powered by a combustion engine, its name would have been coVaradero – but that doesn't quite roll off the tongue, does it? So I opted for the electric conversion instead. Var stands for variability, and elVaradero was designed with adaptability in mind, not as a hydrogen-only car, but rather as a versatile chassis that can be easily modified or tuned to suit your needs. Think of it as a platform for your projects – an autonomous car, perhaps? You don't have to design your own chassis; simply focus on your vision and let elVaradero take care of the rest. I like giving my creations special names, which is why elVaradero bears that name. Still weighing the pros and cons of building this car? Trust me, it's a breeze to assemble. Everything fits together intuitively, and elVaradero is made from the least possible number of parts.
