ELS Project Brackets
thingiverse
These are the brackets and accessories I designed, printed, and made from aluminum to mount my NEMA23 Stepper Motor and Optical Encoder Electronic Lead project from Clough42 (search on YouTube). The Stepper Motor Mount I initially printed out of PLA to verify if the holes aligned with the lathe's holes, as there can be discrepancies between different lathes. Once confirmed, I used it as a template to cut out the bracket from aluminum using my bandsaw. For the gear on the Optical Encoder, I utilized a gear from the change gears that came with the lathe and printed an adapter to fit it onto the encoder's shaft. Make sure these parts are compatible with your equipment before printing them!
