ELP USB camera case
thingiverse
I liked the original design with the 1/4" attachment, but I had some issues to resolve: Why did the screw holes go through the front case? The 2.5mm screws (and holes) made it difficult for me to attach the threaded PCB board of the camera nicely and cleanly. The screws weren't indented, sticking out ugly in the back. This thing gets hot, so I thought it needed more heating holes. So, I adjusted all this in Fusion 360, and here are my results. It attaches with M2 10mm screws, which will just screw in from the back into the front holes, locking tightly (the holes in the front part are slightly smaller to get a good grip). It should print without supports, but unless your printer is awesome at bridging, you probably want supports for the 4 indented screw holes (for the screw heads). The bridging here is awkward and will likely fail a little bit. The ventilation holes in the top and side should print fine without the supports; any decent printer / slicer can bridge that without problem.
