I enjoyed using this mount but wanted the camera positioned slightly further from the print bed. To achieve this, I extended the arm by 60mm and also lengthened the mount point to accommodate a thumb screw similar to this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2749041 After utilizing this for some time, I discovered that it was still not far enough for larger prints. Since I use Octolapse, the Y axis doesn't require the full horizontal view of a 16:9 camera like my C920. Therefore, I decided to modify the mount again to provide a portrait-oriented mount point for the camera. To enable this print without supports, I had to relocate the camera cable clips to the opposite side. However, this makes the wire more visible. I don't see why this wouldn't work for any lightweight webcam that mounts with a 1/4" screw. The clips were designed by jsund to accommodate a 30mm cable, and I've only tested it with a Logitech C920.
