Elna 683 Lifter Lever
thingiverse
I've posted another lifter lever model for the Elna Pro 5 serger on Thingiverse. This model was created for someone who contacted me after her lever broke, in a similar manner. To save a few pennies on plastic costs, Elna designed a weaker part out of brittle plastic that tends to break over time. Since the keying is different on the 683 compared to the Pro 5, I redesigned the model accordingly. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the Pro 5 part number for this one online - if you know it, please let me know or comment below. This new lever fits snugly in place with a tight press fit, requiring a bit of force to secure. It remains attached using the original hardware, including a screw and washer. To ensure durability, I printed the parts in PLA and PETG plastic.
