Ellis Island Museum Lithophane New York

This is the Ellis Island museum in New York, NY. The photo is stylized before becoming a lithophane. There is one with darker colors thicker, one with lighter colors thicker, and a combined where the thicker light colors and the thicker dark colors were overlayed. Printing combined is tricky, and may require some tweaking. Mine was about 1/8 inches (estimated) and it requires strong lighting to see the image. I took this photograph from accross the little bay on a tour of the hospital on the New Jersey side of the island. The museum is the building on the original island, the rest of it is man made.
