Ellie's Guitar (The Last of Us Part II)

I've been working on a personal project since September, but university work got in the way of making progress. Once I finished the game, I knew I had to create something for my portfolio that would get me praise. As one of the few people who thinks the game is a masterpiece, it's essential to showcase my skills. The game has become my all-time favorite, and I'm deeply invested in Joel and Ellie's story. I decided to model the guitar that Joel gives Ellie because it represents their relationship perfectly – it's my favorite aspect of the games. This piece stands out from my other portfolio work, as I usually model weapons. This project was challenging due to the sunburst pattern on the guitar body, which took some time to perfect in Substance Painter. However, I'm thrilled with the outcome. The model was created using 3DS Max and textured in Substance Painter with high-quality textures exported at 2k resolution.
