A well-crafted replica of a hand-hewn log initially believed to be a dugout canoe undergoes scrutiny, revealing it's probably part of a log sluice linked to a historic mill said to be situated nearby in Richmond County, North Carolina. Following an inspection near Ellerbe, this wooden artifact measures approximately 11 feet and 1 inch long. A detailed model is created using 101 photos with the help of Agisoft Metashape software.
