Elite Sirenic Mask - Wearable
prusaprinters

This is a work in progress model of the Elite Sirenic Mask from RuneScape 3. I'm printing the entire set as wearable cosplay armor, so expect more pieces to be added as the project progresses.

This armor is meant to be wearable, but is currently scaled to fit a 5Ft~ adult female. The armor should fit either sex just fine, but you will need to scale it to YOUR dimensions for a proper fit.

The mask has been divided into 3 parts to ease of printing, though it should be noted that you will need a 450mm+ build plate to print some parts whole. If you are using a smaller printer, you will need to slice the model to fit.

I've included a solid model, a smoothed solid model and all the files for the split model. I've also included "settled" versions of the split model that are already oriented for optimal printing, but please note that you need to download and unzip the .zip file if you want to use them. They are not included in the preview above.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Anycubic

Printer:

Large Size Chiron

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.2mm

Infill:

20% (adjust to preference)

Filament: CC3D PLA Silk Blue

Notes:

If you want to wear this for cosplay, I suggest a higher infill percentage to help keep everything strong enough to hold up, as some areas are closed off and cannot be reinforced after printing. Obviously with this being a wearable armor, it's rather large and will eat up about 1.5 - 2 rolls of PLA.
The specific filament I used for this was the CC3D Silk Blue PLA off [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com?linkCode=ll2&tag=thingiverse09-20&linkId=e4759bff1fa9a55a0f897d801ce2d765&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl). It gives a really good color match to the armor in game and (depending on the temperature of your nozzle) can be printed glossy or satin. For my machine (AnyCubic Chiron) with a hardened steel nozzle, I've found that 210*c gives a more gloss finish and 215*c gives more of a satin finish.

Category: Costume
