A vision for 2040's public transport is inspired by the 1964 World's Fair prototype, the PeopleMover. This vehicle harnesses magnetic levitation for smooth acceleration and deceleration while being powered by clean electric energy. The open-air cabins offer a quiet ride, with individual cars detaching as needed. This model is optimized for 3D printing on Makerbot Replicator 2, using rods and sockets for assembly. Superglue finishes the job, and two print file options are available: single plate or covering two build plates. A full-size car model is also uploaded for large printers.
