I thought the Elgato looked awful cluttering up my workspace with all its cords flying haphazardly in every direction. I resolved to mount it securely to the back of my monitor for streaming that wasn't already anchored firmly on a sturdy Vesa mount, and this innovative design sprang into being. The Winged Salmon was proudly incorporated as a tribute to designing it live during one of my streams - it's my signature emote.
