Elf Window

Elf Window

I was at my local Wilko store recently, browsing for creative ideas. While I was there, I stumbled upon an elf door that caught my eye. Apparently, you place these doors in your room and move things around each day to convince your kids that an elf is watching them, making sure they behave. I didn't want to make a door since there are hundreds of them available. So, I thought, why not create a window instead? This idea seemed simple: stick the window onto a wall, cupboard, shelf, or any other surface you prefer. I used blue tack for this purpose. On day two, I attached the window box. Then, I exclaimed to my kids, "Hey, the elf has moved in!" Next, I randomly opened and closed the windows, choosing a day when the candy canes had grown noticeably. Finally, I attached the foot, removed the canes, and placed them either on the ground or hung them from the windows. Then, I put the bottle in the window box. To top it off, I said to my kids, "Hey, the elf must have had one wild night last night!"
