Elf ears costume accessories

When I laid eyes on the Costume Challenge for 2017, I knew I had the perfect opportunity to unleash my inner elf. I fired up my C.A.D program (Onshape) and got to work designing a costume that would make me stand out from the crowd. As I brainstormed ideas, I had to decide whether to create a design that wrapped around my ear or one that sat atop it, using modeling wax to secure it in place. In the end, I chose the second option because it allowed for seamless integration with my ear shape. With a few tweaks, I was confident that my elf ears would look like they were a part of me.
