ELF Drone - Propeller cover (maybe call them drone stabilisers)
thingiverse
I contributed to the development of the 3D printed drone on Indigogo, a platform where innovative ideas take flight (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/elf-the-hd-video-streaming-nano-drone/x/7648351#/story). Having never owned a drone myself, I was apprehensive about its potential for mishap and the resultant damage to both the object of impact and the device itself. To mitigate this risk, I proposed the creation of detachable stabilizers. This undertaking marked my initial foray into 3D design, and consequently, I harbored doubts about the printability of these stabilizers. The angled features posed a concern, leading me to anticipate possible issues upon printing. However, once my printer arrives, I intend to put the design through its paces and iterate upon it as necessary. The drone itself can be accessed via the following link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:877290
