Elevating Pringles Can

New Pringles CanHave you ever bought a can of Pringles chips and been happy with your choice until you get towards the bottom of the can a realize you can no longer reach the chips that are left because your hand does not fit in the can? Well I have, so I redesigned the Pringles can so that as you eat the chips you can twist the bottom of the can which will raise the chips tray up in the tube allowing you to always have you chips reachable at the top of the tube. I have done this by first designing a very course thread to be cut into the inside of the cylinder. Then I designed the chip tray for the chips to sit on with pegs that insert into the cut out thread of the chip tube and notches cut out for the risers to sit in. Finally, I designed the bottom of the can with the risers to swivel independently from the tube which causes the chip tray to spin in the threads of the cylinder and rise towards the top of the cylinder. The design I have made is to a ¼ scale of the actual design so that it can be 3D printed easily. Hopefully this will make Pringles more enjoyable for all.
