Elevating frame for outdoor table cover
thingiverse
I have a table outdoor in my garden and I use a cover to keep it clean and protect it from rainfall and other inconvenience. The problem is, after a storm or any kind of rain, water stagnates and little dirty ponds appear on the tarp. I made these simple little parts to make a frame to elevate the cover at the center of the table, so water can run freely out of the top. I use four "base" parts and four "top" parts along with cheap hollow 8mm diameter aluminium rods I purchased at a diy store. You can make it any size you want. Just decide what the width of the base would suit you and then what height you wish. When you insert the top parts you just have to measure what length of rods you need to connect the top. The inclination of the vertical rods is 15°.
